Saturday

Saturday, December 17th
It's A Dog Day Afternoon! We've partnered wth The Barking Lot to bring you a dog rescue event, starting at 11:30 am and going till 3. Yes, there will be needy dogs in search of a forever home. Lagunitas Brewing (the one with the dog on the label!) is giving them a bunch of items to raffle off and we will have their IPA, Pils, and Holiday Ale on tap.  $1 from every Stein of Lagunitas IPA and Pils will go to the dogs!

Then at 9 pm it's our Firestone Anniversary Event: So get this - recently we found an unmarked FW keg in our cold-box, it's been in there for a long while and the head-brewer helped us determine that it was indeed their 14th Anniversary Beer. The 15th just came out so we are gonna tap the Firestone Walker 14th and 15th Anniversary beers, side-by-side. This is kinda a big deal and how fun to compare them. $10 will get you one of each. Or, you can get just one for $7. That's still a deal, we've spotted bottles going for $28.

Sunday, December 18th

Coffee, Beer & Doughnuts! (or rather, Cafe Calabria Cold Brewed Toddy with Mission Dark Seas Imperial Stout & Sharon's house-made doughnuts) all starts at 11:30 am. You can get the lot of it - the doughnuts plus the coffee-blended beer, for $8. The coffee blended beer without the doughnuts will be $6,

We are also introducing our newest late morning (call it brunch, if you like) menu items:
* Biscuits with Sausage Gravy
* Steak and Egg Sandwich
* Southern Style Buttermilk Fried Chicken on a biscuit

Plus, oyster specials, and our newest sandwich added to the regular menu (It's on ALL the time) is our Vegan Lentil & Mushroom Sliders and ooh-wee are they tasty.

Then we are embarking on perhaps the longest Bicycle Beer Run in SD history-certainly in our personal history...At NOON on Sunday we will ride to the Ocean Beach Pizza Port to pick up a keg o' beer.  The beer will most likely be Port OB's new IPA.

Would you like to join us? Here is the deal: Show up at T!T! by noon and sign up. The first 12 people to sign up will get a very very limited edition Tiger!Tiger! embroidered cycling cap.

The group will be leaving Tiger!Tiger! at 12:33pm, after some (vegan) Donuts and Coffee (beer) so get there early. We should arrive at Port around 1:30pm or so. Have that beer, grab that keg, and head back about 2:30... up the hill. Or maybe through Point Loma, past the airport, and up through Balboa Park. And when we return, we will tap that Pizza Port beer we picked up on the bike ride. Dress accordingly. We will attempt intersect the TWEED RIDE!! Bring some water, maybe some snacks, a spare tube and the essentials. We should be back to Tiger!Tiger! by about 4pm, with a total of about 20 miles of riding round-trip. A good thirst-building ride, but not a major ride.

Wednesday, November 30, 2011

Have you eaten here yet? Well there is this giant wood fired oven in the middle of the room and with it, we make bread (all of of it in-house, fresh, daily) and oysters and a few other delicious things. The primary menu is Sandwiches- our take on the Bahn Mi, a Ham & Cheese with Egg and Bechamella, a Fried Polenta sandwich and more. Plus, raw and wood-fired oysters, soups and oh, some beer. We are leaning heavy on the drinkable beers, like the ones that maybe come in giant steins? Yes, we serve giant steins of session beers on Friday, Saturday & Sunday days for just $8 till 5pm.
That's one full liter of beer in a big fun glass for only $8.
***
This Thursday we are tapping Alesmith's Winter Yulesmith at Tiger! and calling it out here because it's delicious. And seasonal. And perfect for the slightly cooler temperatures coming our way tomorrow.
***
Every Friday until the end of the year we've got a glass giveaway at 11:30 am. Up this week? The gorgeous .4 liter tulip from Allagash, which will come to you for no charge with the purchase of an Allagash White (and maybe their Dubbel.)
***
And on Sunday, we are doing this vaguely late brunch-y thing by adding DOUGHNUTS to our menu, Sunday mornings only. These are yummy sugar-spice donuts (and tasty vegan ones as well) and we will have on hand a coffee beer of our choosing to compliment the sweet treats.
***
Have you seen the logo? We have just a few t-shirts and a couple hats left until the next time we decide to print them. They make fashionable holiday presents.
***
Finally, we never really officially announced our opening so stay tuned for some Grand Opening Hoo-Haa on December 16th, 17th and 18th. More to come...

WHO WE ARE

Lee and Jenniffer Chase
Jeff Motch and Clea Hantman

Together Lee, Jen, Jeff & Clea own Blind Lady Ale House, Automatic Brewing Co and now Tiger!Tiger! The goal is to present beer & food on an equally high level, but at a reasonably low price. Clean beer lines and locally sourced food (no SYSCO, US Foods or BMC products) are at the heart of what we do.

Lee Chase graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Malting and Brewing Science and soon after passed the prestigious Institute of Brewing Associate Membership Exam to become a Master Brewer. Lee went on to work with three breweries and a yeast lab before committing to what was then a start-up operation called Stone Brewing Company. Over the nine+ years that Lee was with Stone, they grew from a small time brewery to an internationally-recognized icon of craft brewing. He currently works with numerous Breweries in the USA, as well as Canada, Costa Rica, India, Australia, Africa, and Norway.

Jeff Motch has a degree in Art from SDSU and his work has graced the covers of bands such as Jack Johnson, blink-182, G. Love and many local bands, he has designed for the San Diego Padres, Patagonia, several local restaurants as well as created fine art posters. He ran the local music zine 360, was art director for Cargo Music/Headhunter Records, spent time in Italy working for Acerbis Italia, studied beer for over 20 years at Live Wire and co-owned his design firm, Lively and Motch, for five years.

Clea Hantman has written eleven books for major publishers. Before that she owned her own successful retail business in downtown San Diego for five years. She’s written for every major publication in San Diego and her work has appeared in dozens of national magazines.
Clea has also been certified by the VPN America, the local branch of the Associazione Vera Pizza Napoletana, an international non-profit organization founded in the mid 1990’s by a group of Neapolitan pizzaiolis (pizza makers).

Jenniffer Chase has a Master’s Degree, in Communication. While putting herself through school, she managed several restaurants, bars and cafes. Jenniffer, along with husband Lee own and manage three rental properties in the area.
