Lagunitas Drink with the Brewer

So, it's rare that Lagunitas Brewmaster Jeremy Marshall gets out and about. It's even more rare when he takes on a small group of beer enthusiasts for a guided flight. So, we guess we're kinda lucky that this is exactly what he'll be doing this weekend in the back yard at T!T!

This Saturday from 3:30-4:30pm a small group of fans will get to taste 5, maybe 6, Lagunitas beers and listen in as Jeremy rambles on about Lagunitas, brewing, beer circus and whatever he feels like rambling about. Oh, and ask lots of questions while he's here.
Who knows when this will happen again.

Last year Beachwood took home five GABF medals and was named "mid-sized brewpub of the year." This year they brought home a Gold and Silver as well as being named Champion Brewers.
Taste the following...Amalgamator IPA, Denver Jackhammer DIPA, Citraholic IPA, System of a Stout imperial Armenian Coffee Stout

Sunday 11/16 at 6pm
with Master Brewer Mark Jilg
We may have saved the best for last. Brewing might not be rocket science but Mark is an ex JPL engineer gone brewer and his geeky, engineer background shines through in his complex flavors. At his Pasadena based Craftsman Brewing, Mark has taken on everything from a pre-prohibition lager to barrel-aged sours, all of which are some of the best we've ever tasted.
What will we taste? Well, thats up to Mark. He is still working on a line up and will be delivering the beers the day of the event. So, we'll all just have to wait and see what he digs up. Sour? Wheat? Wit? Lager? Stout? We'll see.

SHOUT #2: The Mingei Cafe is opening this week! Those of us working at the Park are looking very forward to getting our lattes and mochas there. They are located behind the Nikki-gator inside the southern most door of the Mingei Museum, of course.
